Sears stated that by its internal estimates the company will incur charges in the amount of approximately $443 million as a result of earlier announced store closures. I believe that this is a mild estimation and that the value of charges, in reality, could go a lot higher. In any case, this is just a pure example of the speed at which the company is burning cash and that it is light years away from any form of salvation.
