Thread regarding Sears layoffs

More diversions from the inevitable

I can’t say that I feel even a little relief, hope, much less euphoria which I’ve seen people express on this board and even at the company, about the last minute -bid from Eddie. Don’t want to be the voice of doom, or rub salt on to anyone’s wound , but I think the author of this article summed it up well. This is all just delaying the inevitable, and the sooner the employees at Sears make piece with that fact, the better. We can’t afford to be blind anymore.

Eh, everyone's choice is theirs, they have to stand behind it at the end of the day, and if they want to stick by a dying company with no clear turnaround plan other than give total ownership to the same guy who killed it the last 10 years, so be it.

I am still unsure why anyone thinks anything will be enough to bring it out of 7----nothing is changing but more operating capital...how will they operate differently? short answer, they won't

From the article:

So, all of this is just more drama, more plot twists, more diversions from the inevitable.

This is one soap opera that, thank heavens, is about to be finally cancelled.
