There are additional targets for Q4 and there’s still a reduction gap for Q3 esp in AMS region. It’s not stopping anytime soon. There’s also freeze hiring even though they are denying it and saying you can hire under exceptional circumstances. What they are really saying is you need ML’s approval before you do anything. Either you assign internal resources regardless if they are a fit or not or you force people to absorb new work. Don’t even ask if there’s bonus or raise for the upcoming perf review. They’re not yet done cutting cost. If you even exceed a certain salary range, you will be considered a priority exit. So you better think about the raise you’re asking for. Managers are desperately fighting for work to make sure their people won’t get WFRed. There’s no more collaboration but survival mode. Some managers (at least here in IN) lie about their people’s credentials just so they get qualified for a job. Understandably because if their folks get laid off, they won’t have enough span and they’re out of the door in no time. So they had to do the needful. Customers are p-ss-d esp on managers who they think cant do their job and cant deliver not knowing they were asked to reduce HC and expected to deliver the same quality. ML/SD asked to reduce a significant HC probably saving hundreds of thousands in $. The result? DXC is paying millions in penalty for missed SLAs. Great strategy right? So goodluck to DXC! We have a couple of those. Do just a little more than nothing, make everyone else pick up the slack, but they don’t get fired because it’s impossible to hire a replacement.
Got laidoff after 4 years in this BS company. Worked for migration team in India. 5 people were laid off. Expecting it but was never thought it would be done in xmas vacation.
I’m so so so glad I no longer have to endure their BS any longer. I’m fine and am not looking back . Good on ya DXC ! Your reputation proceeds you .
