Cisco allocated ~375 million dollars for restructuring at end of q4fy18. They used 78 million at end of q1 and I don’t feel rest was all used up during nov restructuring. We will see it in q2 numbers that release mid feb. Historically we have always used what’s budgeted. So that makes it almost certain a big layoff cycle this fy. I also hear rumours further shakeup in CX sometime in March.

Got info from one of the manager. There are discussions about upcoming LR among directors/managers post Q2 results. There is no official notifications from the HR yet.
I would split in two divisions: Cisco High Tech working on development of:
1) Smart security cameras and controllers (Like Alexa)
2) Robot hardware and software for residential and commercial applications.
3) Hologram,3D conferencing systems.
And Cisco Legacy to continue the legacy.
remaining of ccbu boxboro are gone in march / april
I would think it is considerably more than that... if those records are citing WARN, there’s many more stealth layoffs that happen which are not reported, over and above that.
I heard it was coming at the end of Q1. Re-org is already happening.
I heard another version. Someone stated that given the large amounts of h1b and greencard applicants seeking approval at the moment, no major layoffs can be triggered. Is my source reliable? No. Is that statement plausible?
Yuge lay-offs will make Cisco great again!

If they cut to many, how will c-appy websites like this survive?
