Thread regarding General Motors layoffs

Nothing will help

Looks like General Motors is determined to alienate everybody. After this debacle, finding people to buy our cars will be even harder than before.

I think the management has started an irreversible chain reaction with its latest decisions that will not end well for GM or anybody else employed here.

Dark days are ahead of us...

And does anyone believe MB actually cares while she continues to make pathetic decisions and ruining the company and people's lives while she makes millions of dollars a year?

Had a salaried coworker discuss this kind of topic with me prior to the mass layoffs. She said when these people get laid off, do you think their ever going to support GM again, especially the ones that were just hired only a few months ago? No, they're going to tell everyone they know about what just happened to them.

People on the inside know whats happening is wrong, and everyone is sympathetic. How could you not be? Everyone is also so powerless to stop it. The only thing you have the power to do is to decide whether this is company behavior that you support, or something you over look. It's personal to everyone in their own way. I know a lot of people that do buy their products, and many others that will bring their new non-GM vehicles to work each day. You couldn't give them a GM product, and ask them to drive it in.

It is what it is.
