Lowe's LP has some big changes coming. Changes that lead to the layoff of personnel, however, are handled in face to face meetings..
The HR cuts were done at in-person Market meetings (because they answered to Market HR Managers).
The ASM purge was done in-person and in-store, but it was muffed with the FedEx Shipping Notification debacle. ASMs answer to SMs, so their cuts were done at Senior Staff meetings in-store.
If LP personnel, as a whole, were being axed, it would be done at in-person meetings across the Markets.
Major changes to the program, however, are announced on major conference calls. I foresee a restructure but not a mass firing.
