Thread regarding Aetna layoffs

CVS is king of layoffs

Just an FYI Aetna folks, have no doubt cvs will be “eliminating And streamlining synergies” as quoted by Larry Merlo

Cvs uses that term as a word for layoffs. CVS will strike with out remorse, and if you are wondering what the usual severence package, 1 week pay for every year worked. Cvs is extremely cheap and will eliminate duplicate roles for sure. Cvs has a hr department, payroll dept, IT, insurance dept, etc. why would they need two of each? As a CVS Health employee for 14 years I have seen it all.

I was asked to "lay off" 2 full time technicians in an effort to cut pharmacy hours. I refused to do it and told my District Leader that I was going to be damned before I lose good help and good people over some corporate BS.
