In the contract filled with the SEC TT gets $1 mil pay and $2 mil in options through the end of 2019. If he gets fired, he will receive $5 mil in compensation.
I wonder how many people that actually do important work on the network with years of talent could be spared with the money we're throwing away on this loser?
I mean heck, $2 mil could help keep many prime players in the position to salvage a sibling network.
Automation is garbage as is the Calix E3 that Century link dumped because it's plain trash.
However, our yes men keep saying how awesome it is and how many heads we can cut but implementing automaton and let me tell you, I could write a better program than that!
India is driving this automaton into the ground. It's like having a one wheeled car and selling it to a consumer. Your product best be perfected in a lab before it's street ready. These things take four hours to do when a human could do it in an hour.
Nobody has the guts to stand up to upper management and say this is an utter failure. It's destroying morale and the network. Everybody involved hates it and knows it s---s.
Fire Ciena and take the network back !
Oh and to cutting CO tech they're about to do irreversible damage. You can't buy 20+ years of experience for less than $30/hr. Your new Network Techs will be lost in a CO, field splicing, friends and crossboxes.
It takes talent, experience and good mentors to build up those skills.
An id--t that can go in a house, plug in a phone line toa dsl modem and plug in an Ethernet cable is completely unqualified for what everything else upstream is coming.
This is nothing more than riding unicorns that are c-apping rainbows!
Windstream is done for if they believe this all can happen and turn the red ink black. Somebody better act fast or it's over and this garbage company isn't worth recycling.
