Thread regarding General Electric Co. layoffs

On the verge of junk-bond status

This is a clear example of what the market predicts will happen to the value of GE. It's not just that the company just needs to raise cash, but if something radical is not done soon regarding the companies performance we will continue the downfall. I'm aware of the intense pressure that is placed on the company leadership, but gathering money only buys us some time. They need to find a way for GE to start making some revenue, the sooner the better.

Turn around? He is only thinking of raising cash because they are on verge of bankruptcy. He is selling assets, that's all. WS is helping him and themselves maximize the return to themselves.

Should I be worried that my Green Belt Project will be cancelled?

LC has been CEO for a few weeks. Turn arounds take time. Say what you will GE has divisions that produce excellent products. But when you are out of favor, don't expect any good news to come forth. Obviously there are forces that want to drive GE down more. These same people will buy like crazy when the stock has gone as low as it can.

I get it. The sharks live on Wall street and Tusa is setting the table for them to eat.

It doesn't matter what is in my mind. It matters how the company takes defensive moves before sharks' next attack.
