Lausanne Billing office hit badly

Switzerland: ~110 employees out of 180 to leave the office in Lausanne by May 19. That’s where the billing is done. Even though it was a Refinitiv place, they are under TSA for 2 years. Yeah, TR transferred all its European billing to Refin., then will build a brand new team in Hyderabad (Bangalore being too expensive).

The Lausanne office is due to shut down Q2 19, the survivors to be relocated in Baar most likely.

The Baar office has now moved to Zug.

TRGR are in one building and those asset owners working for Refinitiv now in a shoe box sized office also in Zug.

To clear up a couple of things. This is Geneva office, so we're taking about the same numbers that were mentioned weeks ago already. There is no such thing as Lausanne office. There is a staggered exit for customer admin (and other groups) going from Q2-Q4. No one is going to Baar unless they actually find a new gig at Thomson Reuters (all CA in Geneva are part of the Refinitiv org), in which case I wish them all the best! CA is going to be a cluster across both companies.

In terms of office closure, that's not quite correct. The sales function will remain along with a few other odds and ends. Admin and helpdesk are a total wipeout though. The amount of experience being lost is staggering.
