Just got word that due to expenses there in the claim department there will be no reimbursement for holiday lunches/dinners this year. How are we supposed to keep morale at any level above the toilet under these conditions...Unreal!

I heard there are to be no office parties even if the employees pay for it. It can't be held on company time as it takes away from production. The employees can have a get together but it has to be after hours or on a weekend and AIG will not reimburse for this.
I'm fairly shocked that Finance is having holiday parties this year
so do a work slowdown.
AIG just doesn't get it. You also hear no mention of STI bonuses for this year. You would always get an update on that through the year. That will be the next to go. When BD was asked about it at the last townhall he he brushed it off.
Send them all a lump of coal they’ve earned sens the top (br)a-- some good old fashioned karma fir what goes round comes round
All the employees should send Christmas Cards to 175 Water St Maybe the occupants there need to know who actually keeps AIG afloat.
So no Christmas 🎄 cheer @ AIG just waiting for another shoe to drop or in other words when, where & who will be out the proverbial front door the ever increasing revolving door
What morale? Aren't you a Spartan? If you've stayed so long without raises then either you are a Spartan or you don't have any dignity.
The first three years I worked at AIG, we had cool
Xmas parties and morale was off the chart. It was a dream job, I thought I was going to retire here. Then the sht hit the fan and I’m right back to the unemployment line.
Maybe there won't be a claims department to have a Christmas party for, just sayin
AIG doesn't care about morale. They just want to make sure the senior execs(paygrade above 25)receive their bonus checks. We used to have fantastic Christmas parties 12 years ago. They are scrooges.
