Well, I am not sure what your background is, but know that Cisco dev teams are 90% staffed by people from India. Nothing wrong with that and many are quite good, but it creates a working environment that is defined by all the shared cultural norms and values of India. If you are not Indian, you may feel a lttle like an outsider. I want to be clear that this would be true of any team in any company from the same culture, not just those from India. It is human nature to hang out and work with people who share the same background.
Ha Ha Developer in Cisco..... is a big joke. You will be out once your manager f@rts and gives you some coins not to file a court case. Better suggestion is to keep applying. As soon as you get a job quit the company.
Continue till you are layed off in this great company. Your Directors and VPs will be there with you to give the package and sign you off
BREAKING NEWS: Disgruntled ex-employees on thelayoff.com sh-- all over the employer that fired them.
Feel free to commit career s---c-de if you insist
Neither as a young fresher or a senior tech lead is csco a good place for developers now
If you can joined a pe or de you may feast on the gravy train though
it can be discouraging to see VPs in their $100,000 cars, while families are losing their jobs & health insurance. Cisco is a sales company, engineers/developers are disposable.
only join Cisco if you are a sales person.
