Newell Brands has already started layoffs at the Mogadore, OH facility. The sales department drastically missed the forecast for 2018 and given their track record for the past few years, the forecast for 2019 will be off as well. Expect heavy layoffs in Commercial and minor layoffs in the Food Division.

In January 2018 It became public that Newell Brands was unloading half of their companies. Rubbermaid Commercial Products was one of them. Tariffs has nothing to do with it. Company has been in trouble for many years. CEO is listed as one of the worst in financial news.
Newell is angry about our loss of the Menard's business and Rubbermaid is in panic mode. We're out trying to buy business to keep top line up just so they can dispose of us the minute someone takes their eye off the ball.
