Is everyone ok with the increasing numbers of Manila workers? see...'India’s TCS Faces U.S. Trial in Anti-American Bias Case' 2017/ for legal precedent / federal case/ Oakland CA/ In a further setback for the company, the judge also expanded the case into a class action on behalf of American workers who lost their jobs at TCS offices in the U.S. because they hadn’t been assigned to any of its clients.

in 2010 Pope Benedict issued a Papal encyclical denouncing the practice of offshoring as amoral - equal to the enslavement of a category of people. This is the word of a man of God and a scholarly theologian vs the word of HUM, a greedy global insurance racket. Research and discover the truth
the disparity between US and Manila wages is extreme and should not be allowed to happen under reasonable 'democracy/capitalism'
@Wwgs22W-1dhf Do you think it's wrong for Humana to pay the going wage for the location of the employee? Because that's what's been happening in Humana for years. If you live in an high cost area you get paid more.... Should those of us who live in Florida sue for equal pay?
This is America. We should be employing US citizens that reside state side not low wage filipino workers working on the other side of the globe. If philipino employees were truly valued they would be receiving the same pay rate as their US counterparts. The average pay for a filipino agent is less than $400/per month. This is big money in the Phillipines. How does that compare to your US pay? The color of one's skin has nothing to do with it. Its all about the color of money. By all rights, filipino workers should be suing Humana as well for equal pay. However, they would not be able to bring suit in a US court as they reside outside its jurisdiction. Nationality, or skin color is irrelevant. Residence, however, is of primary importance. its that simple.
Yes they did
I can't believe the response posted by Wwgs22W. If this is the way Humana is headed, and they select people like you to care for American Medicare members, just to increase their profits, I will become a spokesperson against them. They laid me off for you?
Why do you think you're more deserving of your job than someone in Manila or India? Is there any actual reason than the place you happened to be born, or the color of your skin?
