No this is just a show piece. They have done the same thing in Saudi. They also have a facility in Jebel Ali. The well population in the region will barely support one facility - much less three. Keep in mind the intent is to employee 100% Omanis in Oman so there is no opportunity for expats and having three redundant facilities will actually increase operating costs. This is all done for show and is just a new COB tp play in the sandbox. Nothing but politics. It will also eliminate knowledge sharing.
