Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

CPO

So... anyone here any latest with CPO. It was another failed program.. are they bringing back production offices within the stores? Any news at all.. Central Quoting is a good thing if it is ran correctly.. but our specialist have to rework every quote. I mean it's terrible quotes.. so far off you wouldn't believe.. I like the idea of central quoting but they need someone that can do it right. Sme thing with CPO.. customer always right, and customers don't want to talk to a call center about issues and complaints. I figure he will do away with cpo.. anyone else here any hard evidence on anything about cpo.. maybe he will try to roll it out again now that psi is closed down.. who knows.

Production office never left our store or market. We were scheduled for CPO tontake iver last September and about a month before they announced there would be a delay until further notice.

I know about the thousands that are issues because they pass off their work to ANYONE that will answer the phone at the store!

you know how many thousands of installs go off without a hitch within CPO? You sound like someone who has no clue what's going on

HD has centralized their project management and quoting.

However, unlike our bright wits of the Nibron-Damlok era, they bought national level companies that were doing the work already instead of trying to build up a system from ground zero.
