Thread regarding Lowe's Cos. layoffs

Sears is going under

Am I the only one who feels that we might be on the similar path?

The Titanic sank in 2 hours, 40 minutes. Lowe's has already hit its iceberg. Capt. Nibby got off on the first boat. Now it's up to Gilligan (played by Marvin Ellison) to save the ship or go down with it.

I used to work for both Kmart and Sears and Lowes. And Lowes is trending that way, as Eli states Lowes is a big boat, so it could take some time.

Lowe's leadership is certainly escalating this. It is becoming far more apparent that they are not interested in a future where Lowe's isn't bought out while the CEO and his cronies make off with millions. Give it a few more years and let's see how effective those fluff pieces on how many temp workers they are hiring work out as they continue to layoff thousands and thousands of higher paying jobs.

Its a big boat, takes a long time to go under, but it will , on the same glide path, same silly ideas that they had......

Certainly possible. But look how long it took for Lampert to kill Sears.
