Thread regarding Molina Healthcare Inc. layoffs

Greed and Ego -- the take of two brothers....

Two weeks severance for loyal staff, some who have been with the clinics for 20 years. Those two boys are all hat and no cattle. They talk a good game but when push comes to shove, its their ego that drives them and how they spend their money. The staff he claims to feel so close to and responsible for sure could have used a slice of this egomania. Lots of yacking going on from their side, but seems they have a lot of money laying around at the expense of MHI, employees (past and present) and patients. Sorry GSM, you seem to be less important than the Smithsonian.

I agree that 3 Molinas (including the EVP sister) were fools unlike their dad who knew how to run the business. Had they distributed their wealth among their core ~4000 employees (prior to purchase of MMS and pathways etc) each of them would have got a good 100/200K to start a new life and would have been thankful for life!

Yep, I saw someone once say:

"Profit before patients. Politics before integrity. Greed and more greed.."

Sums up the tenure of the Molina brothers very succinctly.

Well what a stunner --- This rag is owned by John Molina and they run a story popularizing these two imbiciles. Anyone surprised John would use his own paper for self aggrandizement to fuel his insatiable ego? The real unfunny joke about all of this is how they beg for contributions for their "free" press in the name of democracy even though he acted like a dictatorial despot while at MHI. What a business model -- own a newspaper, have them print a bunch of positive articles about the owner, then ask the public to pay for it. Seems someone is always paying for his personal business ventures -- just not him.
