I been saying for a year plus that Lowe's will cut the specialist position in half sooner than later. All the remaining specialists will have to learn all the installs in the entire store since you won't be assigned a department. I thought they would wait till CPO up and running fine before hand but maybe they won't wait.
We only have one specialist at a time in most cases but there are two of us in a busy appliance department. Once in a while our schedules overlap for a couple of hours and still we are getting slammed. It pisses the customers off as it is when we are busy so can't help right away. This would be yet another dumb thing to alienate customers from Lowe's and destroy full-time employees. They need to have people actually in stores and learn how things work before they make so many dumb decisions that are customer and sales impacting.
