11 Sr. Directors in Merch at the home office were let go today. Logistics is rumored to be next.

My sources tell me that a number of Director and Senior Director level were let go in Logistics - all of them apparently White Males. Looks like Leadership will get their full incentive.
Any news on how many white males were laid off ? Remember, in a forced ranking world, this means that the same number of non-white or females were promoted - there must be balance in the Walmart world. Pretty soon, all of the white males will be gone, and leadership will have to start getting rid of the non-white and females - it will be fun to watch.
That should be illegal ! We should do a class action suit. Sam is rolling over in his grave on what is happening
I bet everyone that was laid off is a white male. The executives get 7.5% of their bonus for promoting women and another 7.5% of their bonus for promoting people of color. In a forced ranking environment, the white male must be eliminated. When will someone file a class action law suit ?
Which teams lost Merchandising Directors? Do these teams have just one apiece? If so, who will head these teams or will they report to a different head?
I bet Sam Walton is turning over in his grave in what this company has become. All down hill after buying jet and letting them take over.
Who in their right mind would recommend anyone to work at Walmart? The politics and cut throat working environment? Thanks but no way. I would even take a pay cut to work elsewhere..

I heard most were given the choice of a demotion or severance.
But I heard the severance packages if they were given the demotion option was not a great package.
I heard some were just fired with no option of demotion.
Are they given time to look for a new position or severance? And does anyone know what the current severance packages are now?
