Thread regarding Union Pacific Corp. layoffs

I was laid off in October. For those of you who were laid off today, keep your chin up. I know how easy that is to say, and how emotionally difficult it is to do, but know that you are truly in a far better place now that you’re out. There is life after UP. You’re all terrific employees with marketable skills and you will find fulfilling work! This is nothing more than a blip on the radar screen of your professional lives although it may seem insurmountable now, you are being moved in a better direction...please believe that...God speed.
