I feel its a slap in the face what the Union has given us with the leaflets. Wabtec wants to strip everything away from us. Almost a 38% wage concession and a bunch of other ridiculous things.. So the Union sets up a 3 day meeting with the attorney to discuss this stuff--pretty important to all the men and woman who work here in Erie. DAY 1, the guy cant make it. DAY 2, he is there but tell the Union that he only has till DAY 3, bec he lives in Chicago and has to be back for his wife that its Valentines day. I dont know about you but I dont care about the mans wife. I feel the welfare of all the employees is much more important.. Other priorities are far more important. Bad example right from the get-go...
Wabtec--I have worked at this plant a while now. Its very unfair of you to come in a expect us to accept a ridiculous low ball offer.. Why should you be able to cause financial hardship to these employees? This tactic of a transfer is nothing more than trying to bust the Union up.
CLOSE THE DAMN PLACE DOWN... I will be standing at the burn barrel. Its about principal here...….
