I just received the severance package in the mail. It doesn't say anything about the yearly performance bonus. Since some of us aren't still employed with the company, do we still get it? I thought staying through Feb. 1st was all we needed to do, but now I'm hearing that we still need to be employed by Lowe's in order to receive it. Anybody know?

When I was let go in the culling a year ago Feb 1st, when the tax bonus came in March i got it.........well sort of. Any of you that have had insurance premiums coming out get ready to bend over and take one in the hole. You don't have insurance anymore right? But, they still take the insurance deduction out of your bonus now that you are gone. Get ready to fight someone to try and get it back. Good luck!!
Was asked how I wanted to receive the bonus and told I would get it. Should have printed the email.
When the ASMS were let go in 2017, they still received their bonus in March/April. We were termed technically on February 2 so we would still be eligible for bonus.
All the LPMs in my district received the same paperwork, a 3 page question and answer sheet. No where in there mentioned bonuses or SSEI. Legally we were still employed by the company... and it states that even tho you are terminated, your still able to receive that money. Unless within the last month they have changed that, which I wouldn’t be surprised.
I believe in the original paperwork faq it clearly stated that if you took the severance you give up any bonus. Yeah I was sad to read it but I guess it is one more way to save money. Also, to the person above...the senior aposm position is in a corporate bonus structure and they won’t be receiving your bonus. At the end of Jan the new position bonus had not been voted on. Another way that they are saving money.
My LPOSM didn’t tell me c-ap. What about SSEI? Technically we were all still employed. What a sh-- show. I’m guessing my Inventory bonus for all my hard work will go to the new LPM that could Hardley cover their store, and now has 6.
Okay, I have yet to receive anything in the mail regarding my severance package. It is extremely frustrating that I have heard people say that have received theirs. Also, before our last day, my LPOSM told me that we our last day was Feb. 1st, so I am assuming that I will not get the bonus? We made inventory in 2018.
If you are considered employed on the 2nd it would still be eligible. If the severance package states termination date is February 2nd then technically you should still get it.
Someone, please chime in if you know more about it.
Lowes does everything in their power to screw you.
