As far as I could tell the elimination of the ASM position started off at smaller stores and neighborhood WM’s, so it looks to me the management is testing an operating model that doesn’t involve the ASM position, if it proves to be working on the smaller scale they will introduce it to bigger stores, the ASM position is history. The sad thing is that if this proves to be unsuccessful the people that got axed won't be hired again and they will turn out to be the collateral damage of this experiment.

At our store we did not lose any ASM. However they did rotate. They put them in different areas of the store. Then where they were.
