Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

QCOM Endgame

Tim Cook is Thanos, he has gathered all of his Infinity Stones (kftc, FTC, tftc, ndrc, EU, etc.).

Steve mollenkopf is the Master of the Mystic Arts, did he cast his spell in time?!?!? Will Paul Jacobs (AntMan) come back to save the day? Would the addition of Sanjay jha, (Captain Marvel), make a difference?

Tim Cook has destroyed Qualcomm to benefit the world but is it enough, is it the right thing to do, can it be undone?

Tune in for the sequel released April 26th 2019.

Cristiano is iron Man as they both rock that nasty Goatee.

OP: WRONG. At best the Qualcomm execs are all Howard the Duck. On a good day, perhaps Aquaman (not the Jason Momoa version either).

Obviously the op drank the Qualcomm kool-aid for far to long to believe this is caused by Apple.

Externally, smartphone transition probably caused the chain of events to the eventual demise. Unable to adapt market dynamics and finding a place to dominate the space is what really killed the company. Software and cloud is the way to go. Instead, company changed direction to be hardware oriented. No way to compete with Taiwanese, Korean, Chinese on hardware.

But internally was what really killed the company. Greed to grow, the company hired bunch of ex Intel and ex TIs, the losers of the pack in the mobile space. These guys replaced the heart of key qc engineers, who were able of overcome all odds unconventionally. With no vision and ability to execute, it's a drunken shop without any hope.
