Thread regarding Sam's Club layoffs

Yearly Evaluations.

Has Sam's Club given up on the yearly evals? Mine was due in November. There are many people at my Club that have not had them yet.

Since it doesn't matter how hard you work to try to get recognized, best practice is to do just enough so you don't get written up or fired.

Its a waste of time nothing comes from it. They can tell you what you need to improve on and if you don't you still will get the same 2% raise next year. For those that say im just a negative person you are the ones that the company looks for and how they survive because you are not smart enough to figure out how you are being used.

The evaluation is a waste of time. You're not being compensated based on performance so what's the point.

I have been an exceeds the past 7 years. Now I just do what I have to do to collect a check and my 2%.

Not feeling very motivated by this company...

They are still being done through work day. It doesn't effect your pay raise if you have it or do poorly. The notification will be in your manager and team lead's email for a task to be completed. After they complete it you can go on the wire/me/career and performance and view it and knowledge it.

If it hasn't been completed for you to view one of a few things maybe the cause. 1 it is not time yet, 2. It has been done and is sitting there waiting for you, or 3. They have not completed it yet.

You can always ask how you are doing and if you need to improve on anything.it shows initiative.
