Looks like they've been reducing since 2012 or so. But the downward curve is steeper in the last year.

About 12% fewer shares outstanding 12/2018 than 3/2018. Buybacks!

So if EPS is not up 12% over last March, earnings drop, revenues dropped. Feik news if "beat analysts" because analysts forgot about buyback.

Do your arithmetic after earnings call and see what you thinkmfuture holds for layoffs.

Institution investors still own over half the outstanding stock. O would have to buy back about $100B of shares to go private, or get enough institutional investors to agree (unlikely).

Talk about throwing good money after bad - buying oracle stock must the the worst use of money in the world, might as well flush it down the toilet. Oh, wait, that’s exactly what they’re doing!
