First time they sent it out with nothing broken down or explained! Now they want to revise it and keep us away from the money we are owed longer?
That's some shady stuff going on! I hope someone at corporate level loses their job over this.

No corporation like Lowe's does ANYTHING to be "nice". They do things to keep themselves from getting sued, and that's all. They calculate the risk, and go the cheapest route.
However, just the fact that they come up with different levels of severance for different groups of mass layoffs should be enough for an eventual lawsuit. And that BS about no lawyer taking the case? Nonsense. The level of potential damages can equal a vastly greater sum of money than the initial cause.
Good luck guys. I hate to see anyone lose your job, but no attorney is going to take this. They don't have to pay you jack. They did to be nice. The attorney will tell you that. I know you're mad. I know it s---s. But typing up empty threats on the internet doesn't do anyone any good. Spend that time putting in applications instead.
Lowes has always been second-rate, unethical, shady, and liars. Sue em.

Just received another b---s--- letter today from ups. That it has come to our attention that the severance calculation in your release and separation agreement may be incorrect. They cut my severance check in half. From 12k to now 6k, taking this up to a lawyer.
