I volunteered for ISP, but wasn't chosen. Got a decent raise, 100% of my 95%, and will keep trudging on. Me staying means someone that wanted/needed to stay couldn't. I feel bad, but I know the good people will land on their feet.

Hello- Are you an Engineer? We are hiring! It will require relocation, which we do cover. I am actually having an onsite event here at our facility in Hampton Roads, Virginia. We build Navy Nuclear Carriers and Submarines. If you are interested go to buildyourcareer.com and apply to our general senior engineering req # 27844
Once here, you will have an opportunity to tour our campus, meet with hiring managers and senior executives to ask questions, and interview for multiple openings.
The voluntary layoff was only for people with 12+ years of experience.
Those are the people they wanted to get rid of, not NCHs or people with just a few years of experience.
I don't get why anyone was turned down for the voluntary, when the involuntary was a broad sweep without regard to skill. There must have been some very different approaches in different areas.
Is seems like an insult to be on the layoff site chatting about how much of a raise & bonus you received...IJS
You are all disposableYou are just a number
You are expendable
3.5% is a "good" raise. Most people in my area got 2.5%. The top of the 9 box got 3%.
What was your raise? I got 3.5% and 100% of the 95% payout
Same here. I was turned down and deemed essential personnel.
