So. The letter from John hater says. You are employee through Feb 28. And pay through 4/9 . But the severance package says. 2 weeks pay forevery year worked. Is the 2 weeks per year starting after the 2/28 or 4/9. The 2 documents seem to be conflicting.

WARN act is separate from severance. Not everyone gets WARN act … something to do with work location. My understanding is the following. People who were let go should have received full pay and 2018 Team GM Bonus payout in February. Severance begins March 1st. March 15th paycheck should include: 1st severance pay, prorated 2019 Team GM bonus, and if eligible, lump sum WARN act payment. March 31st paycheck will be 2nd severance pay. Severance will then continue to be paid out on the 15th and 30/31st of each month until severance period expires (which will vary based on years of service).

Heard that WARN is paid lump sum and 2 wks/yr severance is paid 2x per month. WARN for WTC only
I just emailed them.. . so the WARN act only applies to the folks laid off at the tech center? I will let you all know the reply... I know there are paychecks through 4/9 but not sure if there is the 1/2 month per year thing also....
WARN act pays WTC people layed off until April 9, you are off the payroll after Feb 28. April 9 is not a date GM set for some big announcement, it's a govt regulation called the WARN act. There may be some big announcement.
If you are still an employee until April 9th, you cannot apply to certain companies that GM does business with.
Hummm wonder what big announcement will be coming prior to April 9th....
