When is severance usually paid out? Is it always within a month of being laid off?

They are aware by tracking when you received the package. I signed mine the date I received it. Backdating will only prolong payment.. or worse case they’ll see that as an error, and the process will start all over again.
So backdate anything you sign.
By what I received in the packet, it states 14 days of full execution.. whatever the heck that means. So they will take their time signing their half of course, and then hopefully 7-14 business days after that. S---s.
Once you sign and send back your offer, there’s a 7 day period which you can cancel and reject the offer. After that, the company has 14 days to process your severance, which will be direct deposit. So, 7 days from the date you sign and return plus 14 days to process. You should see your severance within 2-3 weeks after accepting and returning the paperwork.
At next pay period, I believe.
