Thread regarding CVS layoffs

Stock is crashing...

In danger of falling into the 50’s. Watch out IF it falls below fifty into the 40’s, then you might see crisis mode. A far cry from when we were in the hundreds.

Cvs down again 7 days in a row now! Something major is brewing... Cvs can't afford anymore bad press. I suspect some drastic cutting and slashing might be announced soon to show wall street your getting this thing under control!

Wall Street needs to see a cut to stop this stock from falling and the cut isn’t at store level it’s the ceo that over promised on this merger for months up until earnings then surprise headwinds missed sales opportunities etc he misled investors big time

Stock now under 60. At 58 and change today. That's 6 down days in a row. Company really bleeding now.

LOOK, I'm not happy and no one knows with certianity but I think you can expect stock to level out and maybe even rise a little soon.

Around 58$ , it will even drop to around 48$ over next 15 months

Then slow - I mean slooooo rise

It will be back 80s but it will be 5 years - buy it when it hits 45 $

As of today stock has been down 4 days in a row, ever since the bad quarterly results.

Why do people respect this guy? The disparity between his bonus alone and what the average employee makes is laughable. I have 0 respect for anyone who 'leads' out of fear and not by example.

Merlo is a hands on leader who doesn't trust to many others. If he can't make the decisions for the entire company he losses his mind! He wants to be made aware of everything. He has been burned before on turning over the reigns. The Macy's hiring spree was one event. Now he let his subs talk him in to cutting more payroll by eliminating his BEST people and most knowledgeable business leaders thus leaving the company with a gap in quality leaders. The people he trust the most with a couple exception are screwing him over. Merlo is a high energy leader who is committed to CVS. Unfortunately, his cronies are not as committed. Clean house of the leftover Macy's & Eckerd leaders. Interview some leaders from really successful retailers. The stores should not be an after thought. Refocus on the stores to improve your CVS's reputation!

Only problem is Mr. Merlo went all-in on the Aetna merger. If things don’t go like he planned or if the stock tanks really bad, it’s his legacy on the line. No golden parachute can save a tarnished reputation!

I read about 8 different articles in regards to our latest merlo state of the company and every one of them predicted cvs stock to be bearish ( which means go down in value) over next 12 months - no shock there but at least I can tell u that's one of only 4 things Ive read today on this site that is straight up FACT.

These stooges have been telling Merlo what he wanted to hear for 5 years... the slow drip is becoming more apparent....

Merlo purchased a mansion on an island in Sc next to TOM Ryan’s retirement home. Looks like golf and fishing and drinking umbrella drinks in his near future.

Merlo will be gone soon....these leaders have bleed the turnip enough...time for some new leaders with new ideas...give him his golden parachute and move on...if your only ideas for making profit are cutting payroll and raising prices your an asshat
