If your out, youve resigned a once great omaha intitution to the sc-ap heap.
If youre in, youve realized nothing make sense any more so why care, and your likely just on borrowed time

Most people still working may not care, but people outside UP, certainly in Omaha, care. The community is starting to wonder how many people can get let go, why the layoffs are happening when UP is doing so well, and can’t believe they laid the person with cancer off.
Comments I’ve heard include, “Don’t know what’s going on over there, but hopefully they figure it out soon”, “Is leadership clueless or what?”, and “I guess what happened to First Data is what’s happening to them.”
Perhaps more telling is an instructor at UNO who, when students talked about applying at UP, responded with, “Don’t you guys watch the news?”
I'm sure the general population outside of UP already doesn't care and most people who are still working don't care either.
Soon this whole union pacific layoff will be old news, nobody will care, its starting to wear itself thin already.
Could NOT care less.
UP has become what is going to ruin this country. CORPORATE GREED. They could careless how many people lives they destroy.
