Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

Hoping to be laid off

The situation Humana has created with constant layoffs and stacking of responsibilities is unbearable. To say we are overworked would be an understatement. This kind of pressure is not healthy - it affects us both physically and mentally.

I'm now in a position that I'm praying to be laid off. How sad is that?

What is AL? We are also being offered to cross train and do learning center work everything but be on the dialer to keep us busy . The dialer is very slow and there aren’t many in it doing enrollments for the CM program . I’m grateful to be busy but very worried at the same time

I concur with u previous poster. No consultation with those of us that were moved. We did receive the special one week training that was supposed to be 3 minimum. After having been moved in a few months to multiple positions, it was very stressful. The group of us that were moved were treated subhumanly. It was clearly deliberate. I was personally privy to A L s secret emails and disclosures to me personally that we were being set up to fail. I still have the email of us being told not to disclose this to anyone. After this, he email blasted the team that we were to be quiet. Moving forward, we were closely scrutinized, evaluated, threatened with more dings than Pavlovs dogs. Repeated complaints were to no avail. We were human Guinea pigs in a human experiment of mental torture. I can't say much more since these people are relentless. I can say this, after many dedicated and loyal years with this company, this is no short of the bottom of the barrel in corporate abuse. I pray for healing grace for all of those involved.

With you. Moved to a positions I did not ask for nor did they even consult with us that were moved. Then to top it off only 1 week of training? then slapped with a full load for another state I know nothing about. Prior to the move another Clinical Leader outright stated that we were being set up to fail! I pray to be laid off at this point as in a job I absolutely despise at this point. After almost 10 years and only 2 to retirement I can't quit! Then to slap on the DSBP and expect you to maintain 130 is ridiculous when I see the others on the team with under 100 members. I truly think they hope those of us moved will quit in order to avoid severance.
