Thread regarding Devon Energy Corp. layoffs

Who will do the work?

With so many layoffs, huge attrition, very few people being hired to fill the vacant positions - who does Devon thinks will do the actual work if it continues like that?

It is already at a point where people are doing the work of two or three people for the pay of one. Do they expect us to start working for four or five? Until we just keel over? And then what?

I'll be honest with you guys. It is just about business and improving efficiency, holding individuals liable, and streamline cost while improving overall safety and quality.

Newsflash......who cares if any work gets done. DH just wants to cut the company to 3 so he can get more money in his payout from the buyout.

Even after the layoffs there is too many workers. The G/A expense is still way to high.

Don’t worry about that my friend. My EHS contractor network has it all covered. We can supply the manpower needed to keep this thing rolling.
