I thought the same thing. 35k is huge, but as the memo stated, they were hired to meet growth targets which we missed. It’s needed to cut some of them. Let’s just hope it’s cutting the right people and not the good ones.
I didn't understand the 30K comment? is it a hint for the number they're targeting?
If you are talking about "The Huddle" email that Hackett sent out today, He gave his high level vision but gave no specifics. It was not anything that hadn't been said over and over for the last six months and is exactly what he has been saying in every interview he has had with the press in the last year.
Not a newsflash - everyone already knew cuts were coming based on the various/many communications provided previously.
