The goal with this VSP was to diminish/eliminate as much of their pension obligation as possible. They did that. They will fill the positions that they HAVE to fill with new hires. It is left to the people remaining to train them.......VZ is all about wall street. Plain and simple.
There was always a set percentage of positions that would be back filled from those that took VSP.
If they can get over Trumps wall
