Remember to bring a pen to sign your severance papers ... it should only take a few minutes... they usually allot 15 minutes.. they will have boxes in the room... HR will be there and maybe your director will be present... turn in your badge, cell phone, laptop, cc,... grab your stuff and security will kindly escort you out... the above is my lay-off experience

Saw a picture of someone trying to schedule rooms in Arizona IT Center.
On Wednesday January 23rd, the 1 first floor large rooms (Suburban, Spark, SuperSport) are all booked from 12pm - 4pm. These rooms can be opened up to make one big room, and usually are used for large training or some building wide activity... neither of which are happening so it looks like to me HR would be using this time to discuss the layoff and reorg.
