why don't you just interview and see what other companies are willing to offer. Don't tell them a range just say market rate. Then once you get an offer measure it up to your GM. Make sure you account for benefits not just salary.

Good luck. Working at GM stagnated your skills. Gonna have to study a lot for interviews.

Aim for what you want to do and where your skillset lies. Use glassdoor and salary.com to find the average salary and salary ranges to expect when getting interviewed or accepting job offers.

You should find out your worth using various resources such ad indeed, Glassdoor, etc.
