Does anyone else find it amusing that Verizon decided to make MLK an official paid holiday but instead of just including this as a holiday they actually move a personal day into this slot but then act like they are doing us a favor?
Honestly I understand business needs and even though big red could afford to offer both I get it would cost a lot of money.
What I don't understand is why upper leadership continues to think we are id--ts and go around acting like this was done out of some favor. They do this with everything and it makes them look like id--ts and makes this job feel worthless.
" Hey guys exciting news we are changing the commission structure so you will make less money"
"Hey guys exciting news we are lowing your employee discount on accessories"
"Hey guys exciting news we are giving you MLK day as a paid holiday but you also get less personal days then you did before"
Please tell me I'm not the only one who feels this way
