I’ve been hearing whisperings about reductions in leadership out in San Diego. Management has been scrutinizing every single nanosecond of labor used and everyone is being watched under a microscope for the next few weeks. Employee morale is the worst I’ve ever seen it and everyone is either on edge or just doesn’t care anymore. It feels like something is coming.

Close out meeting was today today in Tampa. A few hours later, the VP of finance quits. That should be a pretty good indicator of things to come.
It's ugly but the company is being proactive to survive and remove positions that are not job critical. For those who are upset and angry and have low morale, get a new job! It will mean someone who loves SeaWorld can stay and work and might not have to leave.
I heard the "audit team" has been in San Diego watching the shows dept, looking to see what positions can be cut. Shows will be a thing of the past very soon.
Tampa to be visited in mid-Feb by the traveling “audit teams”. Upon their pale horse.
Many more than these numbers! Sad...very sad.
3 in Tampa
4 layoffs in Finance . San Diego.
