The ax falls after the Superbowl?

I've heard from very credible sources that a reorg is coming, likely after Superbowl. Got to make sure we have enough people to push through Superbowl then the ax will fall. Been told to avoid major project action items 2x2-3x1. Good luck everyone! Sad this seems to be happening every year.

"Credible sources" is a relative term in my book but I gotta admit there is logic to what @X3V9PdW-fqzy is saying. Anyone heard the same, or does anybody have any more info on this?

I wonder what specific levels they'll ax... From an HQ perspective, it generally feels like we have too many people that just delegate right now (looking at you middle mgmt) and not enough people who actually DO WORK.

Sadly, all the technology investments the company makes keep "justifying" additional headcount reduction at the junior levels... So we're left with a bunch of mid-level ppl who don't know how to do anything with what they're given from the technology, or a bunch of lower level people whose lives s--- bc they're doing way too much work for one analyst to handle

Redundant Roles are going away, shared responsibilities too - Regions thinned out- field top brass eliminated or reassigned - Added roles in food service and other areas that are driving growth and removal elsewhere. If you plan on sticking around you want to be on a side that is considered to be growing or untapped.

Good luck my friends

Based on this site it seems as though reorg, USA market restructuring from 8 to 4 and job cuts are coming week of Feb 11. Vending machine talk is pretty much the same adding that open rules are taken away. Add to that the strange silence from new CEO, probably a safe bet something is coming.
