They upped the earnings estimate and yet they want to reduce head count. Why do they keep calling GM family? Does this type of kicking to the curb happen in real families? With this prolonged process, they only end up losing talented people and will be left with more deadwood. Of course they can get rid of the deadwood nut who is left then? Just management? Back to contractors? Its all very confusing.

a lot worse than what happens at GM happens in real families. At Jonestown and in scientolgy they are family too, lots of cult language used in real families and corporate "families" to get people on the group think wagon. and yes, it's legal to lay people off. Mary wants GM to be more like a tech company. now successfully has google facebook silicone valley group think flowing like current through a boltEV. After the layoffs there will be more funds available for unconscious bias training, feminista quotas and gender pay equity.
