Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

Can Walmart compete?

US wages are up 3 percent, is there ANY chance Walmart will hand out 3% raises this year? Will we get anything at all?

No bell curve at the DC, we're all lumped together and get the same c-appy "raise", usually nothing and never enough to keep up with inflation 👍

Aren’t raises now determined the same way as the bonus? Depends where you fall on the bell curve? That has been my understanding.

ABCD are the levels of jobs in the stores. Old levels A=1-3, B=4,5, C=6, D=7.

Not sure what A B C D means but I'm planning on another year with no raise at the DC. 5 Years with no real raises except to our expected "rate" every year and we can't even get 2% to keep up with inflation. What a greedy c-appy company this has become.

I assume A/B will get 2% In February. C/D are based on performance and are eligible for a higher raise in April. Just like last year.
