Mileage paid outs

Is anyone being told you now have to subtract your normal commute plus an additional 75 miles from your paid outs? Also told you can only claim mileage if the total round trip is above 75 miles. This isnt stated anywhere in human resources but only states minus your normal commute.

Some cowboy RM or Director is making up their own policy. Call the Ethics line and report it anonymous. Make a note of it in case you need it later.

If you read the policy, it states that this deduction is for "floater Pharmacists".

So pretty much if you have to drive 200 miles (100 miles back and forth) they are only paying you for 50 miles? That is not right at all. If I were you I would print out the mileage policy and show him.

I am a store manager and the one who posted this and I'm being told from my DL who states they have spoken with our HRBP that subtracting the additional 75 is correct but I still call BS. If this is the case then never expect anyone to ever help another store out when they need. This seems to be just c-ap and someone trying to help their own bonus.

We get monthly mileage paidouts for going to the bank. The 75 miles is definitely BS. The SM doesn’t want to do a paidout. We do require that proof of mileage is turned in though. And as for floaters, we have 2 districts that share floaters and they don’t get a paidout unless going to specific stores that are unreasonably far.

If you go under “policy and procedures” and go on the mileage policy. It states you are to get mileage whenever you drive your own vehicle. Going to staples to buy supplies, to the cvs down the road to pick up a box of T-shirt bags, to work in the store in the town over etc.... subtracting 75 miles etc is BS. The only exception is for floater pharmasists who only get mileage if the commute is 30 miles or more from their home store.
