Thread regarding Dream Center Education Holdings, LLC (DCEH) layoffs

Please close the doors this week at Pittsburgh AI

At this point, the students need a healthy start at the Pittsburgh a.i.

Please make the decision to close the doors this week, because the negativity, events, and name that have surrounded the university are too incredible to salvage. The students need a fresh start and a bright future separate from the AI. They deserve at least that much for their loyalty and dedication to the school. Thank you!

You live in a fantasy world if you dont think potential employers are gonna wonder why u have an 11 yr employment gap on ur resume.

Employers dont care that u worked at these schools one way or another, unless u worked in admissions, in which case u wont want to work at another univ for 35k anyway, so nothing to worry bout

I was a full-timer and was with AI from around 2006 until 2017. I was one of the lucky one that got severance. I definitely watched as the place slowly burned to the ground over that 11 years, but kept on working, because I had to pay the bills. ....and I taught and taught well. My students weren't always all that great, because many were recruited not having an idea of how to take on-line classes (some didn't even have computers. I like hxm will never put AI on my resume/CV. I am embarrassed to be associated with them and have worked at enough other reputable schools to have an impressive CV despite 11 years of experience with AI.

AiLV has set a closing date of March 31, 2019: http://cpe.nv.gov/Students/Students_Home/

Other campuses may follow. Students found out through VA benefits agency not AiLV.

Well said! As a former FT faculty member (now adjunct) I have had the pleasure of having students through multiple classes. They are good people, deserving of not being fed over by this broken record of a school, and we deserve better too! I need this job just like everyone else here but not at their expense. Quite frankly I am embarrassed to even put Ai on my resume and have taken it off. In talking to other professionals in the field I am surprised how many know of the shtty reputation of Ai. Definitely concerning for students.
