Can anyone explain to me why one position elimination would get severance but then another job elimination would not be offered severance. I thought the policy said that if your job is eliminated, you would get it. Also, if PC or TC is not offered new role would they get severance since there is no other comparable jobs remaining.

I would think that the TC and PC should be offered a severance package. Any details we were given at our meeting were very vague and hardly discussed. We were told that all that they knew was that a new position was starting in 3rd quarter and both could apply for it.
