Any word on layoffs in any of the Canadian offices? Looks like they are trying to cut costs. I've heard some people on the financial line side has been let go, and I can only imagine the inevitable blood bath in underwriting

Canadians are smart. The highest placed Canadian at the firm - the ex-CFO, Sid S was let go in Dec first week. He took the STI at 100%. Also, he also took the severance of millions. Today, he has a new job at the rapidly growing Oscar Health.

I agree blood bath was a tad dramatic. But why side step with other insurance companies are hiring in Canada? That has nothing to do with the premise.
