What about the Central Florida office. Doctors office outsourced us to CHMB(April 2018) and then CHMB to Allscripts(June 2018)??
If we get laid off by Allscripts, for CHMB staff, can we apply for our similar jobs directly to the client we worked on?
Yes there are layoffs through out the company. Small pockets and ones and twos. Any positions deemed have to full are being filled with off shore workers. They can hire multiple bodies to 1 US body. They are just bodies , with zero infrastructure any training they receive is terrible as well as useless . So it is just a bottom line thing. Allscripts management is clueless and lazy. All levels, your direct report on up. I hope they can see the distain in my eyes when in meetings with the worthless lot.
I was out of Escondido. I heard some from Irvine also.

Another 30+ at Allscripts/CHMB today. Mostly AR and Billing Coordinators.
Be prepared for more layoffs coming. Very bad earning forecast for FY2019.

Per our meeting, there were 18 employees laid off last week in the Escondido office. All held positions. Manager, Billing Coordinators, and AR.
Any idea which CHMB offices are going to be dealt with layoffs?
If this is CHMB/Allscripts, what are they giving the employees when they are laid off.? I
I wonder if middle management positions will be eliminated?

I just got laid-off this morning around 10:32am PST. My company became a subsidiary of Allscripts in June 2018. Before that Allscripts was our vendor. We used their software and, we also sold their software to our clients that we did Medical Billing for. Back in June when this happened some of my co-workers were terrified scared that we were going to all get laid-off back then, but the rest of my co-workers including me said oh no, you don’t have t worry it’s a good thing, we are now a part of a large global company. They gave us better benefits, and some employees even got pay adjustments to bring their salary up to where it should be. They then decided to allow everyone in my office to work from home. They gave us laptops, monitors and everything we needed to work from home. Things seemed great. Now I understand that it was all B@llSh#t. They were going to do this all along. I just don’t know why they kept stringing us along. The should have done it back in June and just gotten it over with. May they burn in Hell.
I haven't heard anything myself.
