I am a TC and my friends act like I died. Our PC has friends she never knew she had before pumping her for info on the new position. She even got a call from another store. Just shoot me now.

funny how people who never talk to the PC or TC come in and ask all sorts of questions about the new People Partner. Slap me in the face, pull out my heart and stomp on it.

Sure TCs were told they can apply, but at our meeting it was almost an afterthought. After a ten-minute pep talk to the PCs about how they were the subject matter experts, our MHRM said, oh, and you TCs can apply too. I talked to some of the other TCs that were they. They felt like they had been slapped in the face.
I’m not sure why you are referring just to the TC job being eliminated. Both positions are being eliminated. They are in it together. There is no guarantee the PC will land the new position. Internals and externals can apply.
Me to. The pc and manager were behind closed doors for over an hour. When I asked the pc what was up, she told me it was none of my business. She hasn’t spoken to me since and the store manager is avoiding me.
I've seen that for myself. I feel like since they are going to get rid of the TCs they should have just said so at the meeting they all had last Thursday, instead of the TCs coming back to they store having to work with people who are acting like the TCs job has already been eliminated. That goes from the store manger down to the assistant managers. I just hope that during this change with personnel that none of the PCs get sick or have to go on a leave, because if I was a TC. I wouldn't take over doing the PCs job since they are being left out of everything. .
